At King Stone Gems, it is very important to us that you completely happy with every gemstone you purchase. We understand that choosing and purchasing a gemstone over the internet might be a new experience for you and we want to make sure that you feel completely comfortable with every step. Whilst we strive to represent every gem as accurately as possible in both colour and detail, we know that making a decision based solely on the images you see and the information that you read is no substitute for actually seeing the gem in your hand.
Because of this, we offer a 7 day evaluation period commencing from when you receive your gemstone. If you are not completely satisfied with your gem for any reason at all, you can return it during this evaluation period for a full refund less shipping and insurance costs. If you do decide to return your gem, please contact us immediately within the evaluation period to let us know and so that we can provide you with the correct return address. Returns outside of this evaluation period will not be accepted, eg. if you contact us three weeks later to let us know that you no longer like the item, King Stone Gems will not accept the return of the item.
Please note that whilst you have possession of the gem you are fully responsible for its care. This also includes the return shipment up until we sign for its delivery at our office. We would strongly recommend that you fully insure the shipment to cover the gem against loss or damage in transit. This will be at your own cost and risk. King Stone Gems will not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation in the event that return packages are lost, stolen, damaged or mishandled.
Your gem must be returned in original condition. It cannot have been set into jewellery, worn in any way, damaged, chipped, scratched, fractured, altered in any way or weigh differently. Once we receive the gemstone and have carefully inspected and satisfied that it is in original condition we will contact you to arrange your refund.
If the gemstone or item has been altered, substituted or damaged in any way then King Stone Gems reserves the right to refuse any return or refund and will return the item back to you at your cost and risk.
Because of the high value of our gems and the nature of our business we strongly recommend that you enquire first about any gems you might be interested in purchasing. Whilst we make every effort to keep our website up to date we suggest that you contact us prior to making your order to make sure that the gem is still available and so that we might be able to answer any questions you have.
All orders are subject to availability. If a gem that you have ordered is not available we will contact you and any payments will be refunded
King Stone Gems makes every effort to ensure that all details, descriptions, availability status and prices that are shown on our website are correct and accurate.
However, we are only human and if we discover that a gem that you ordered was priced incorrectly or some other detail was incorrect then we will contact you and inform you of this fact and provide you the option of either proceeding with your order at the correct price or cancelling it. In the event that you decide to cancel your order a full refund of any payments will be made.
King Stone Gems reserves the right to make alterations to any of the items listed, any website pages and any services offered at any time without notice.
We take security very seriously at King Stone Gems. We conduct extensive security checks upon every transaction in order to prevent fraud. All credit card transactions will be verified to ensure the cards being used are not stolen.
We reserve the right to cancel any transaction or refuse a sale to any person for any reason. If we suspect any fraud or deception we will immediately terminate the transaction and notify the appropriate authorities.
Any and all information that you provide to us will be kept strictly confidential. No information will be shared with any third parties at any time. We do not keep any credit card details.
All prices displayed are exclusive of GST and other taxes.
For Australian customers, a 10% GST will be calculated and added to your order.
For international customers, at this time no additional taxes will be added to your order by us, however please note that all international shipments outside of Australia may be subject to the various customs and import fees, duties and taxes of the destination country especially if they are properly declared. The customer is fully responsible for these additional charges and any others that may be required for customs clearance. Each country has different regulations and these are often changing. We have no control over any extra charges that may arise. Return of goods because of such charges cannot be accepted. King Stone Gems is not accountable for any import or customs taxes applied by your individual country.
Determination of whether GST and other taxes will be applied will be based on your shipping address. If your shipping address is within Australia then GST will be applied.
1. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards.
2. We will accept Credit Card payments over the phone.
3. Paypal is accepted.
3. Bank Wire Transfers (International Money Transfers) and Direct Deposit are accepted and preferred as this is the most secure of all the payment methods. For certain countries this will be the only allowable payment method. Please contact us to arrange this so that we can process your order.
4. Personal checks will be accepted with prior arrangement.
5. Bitcoin payments are accepted.
When choosing your payment method please keep in mind any spending limits that you may have on your cards or accounts.
We reserve the right to request any payments be performed in the method of our choosing, such as a direct Bank Wire Transfer, for certain countries or for gemstones over a certain value. This will be at our discretion.
Payment in full is required on all purchases and all funds must be cleared before any items are dispatched. No exceptions made.
All transactions will be processed and finalised in Australian Dollars (AUD) at checkout regardless of the currency that you may have chosen to display the prices in. All exchange rate conversions will be performed automatically at the time of transaction by the relevant payment gateway provider or bank.
In the case of Bitcoin, payments will still need to be made in bitcoins to the address provided once you place your order.
The amounts shown on your final order confirmation will be in Australian Dollars (AUD) as this is the base currency for the King Stone Gems website.
Card details are transmitted through a secure server using Paypal. Card information is not hosted or stored by King Stone Gems after processing.
All payment information and transactions are conducted in the strictest confidence and no information will be shared with any other party.

King Stone Gems ships Australia wide and internationally. Within Australia we use Platinum Post and for international shipments it’s FEDEX.
All customer details and shipping address must match the authorised information of the PayPal account or Credit Card used.
For security reasons, we will ship only to a physical street address. We will not ship to PO boxes.
All shipments will be sent with SIGNATURE UPON DELIVERY.

Shipping and Insurance costs are non-refundable.
Insurance on international shipping is OPTIONAL though strongly recommended. If you choose not to insure your shipment then any loss, damage or other impact is entirely at your own risk. To insure an item please contact us to obtain a quote. As a guide, insurance is approximately 1.5% of the value that you choose to insure it for.
Insurance on shipments within Australia is included and limited to $10,000. If you wish to insure your items over this limit then contact us to make arrangements.
Orders are normally dispatched within three business days once all funds have cleared.
To place an order on the King Stone Gems website you will need to create an account. This is quick and easy to do by simply clicking on the MY ACCOUNT menu option at the top of the page and following the instructions.
If you have previously created an account then you will be able to log back in using your account name and password. Once you have logged back in you will be able to view all your past orders and to edit your billing and shipping addresses.
If this is your first time then you can create a new account by supplying an account name or email address and a password. You may also enter your billing and shipping address information at this time.
If haven’t created an account then you will be prompted to do so as part of the checkout process and before an order can be placed.
It is very important that you do not share your account details and passwords with anyone else. We assume that any orders placed through your account are being placed by YOU. If we detect any unusual activity or orders we will attempt to contact you via the email address you have provided. If this is unsuccessful then we will try to contact you via any phone numbers you have provided. We reserve the right to remove any accounts and cancel any orders.
